Satta Matka for Beginners: Reading Your First Result

Every matka market ends its sitting with a short string of digits. On Satta Matka Global it might look like 356-41-489. Newcomers tend to see three unrelated numbers. There are really two draws and one sum, and once you can take the string apart you can read any market on the board, follow its chart and understand what a wager actually names. This page gets you there in one sitting, with no money involved.

What a market declares, and in which order

• The open panna. Three digits drawn first. In the sample line it is 356.
• The close panna. Three more digits drawn later, sometimes an hour after the open and sometimes several. Here it is 489.
• The jodi. Nobody draws this. It is built from the two pannas and printed between them: 41.

Panna and patti are two words for one thing: a figure of exactly three digits. A panna does not shrink to two digits or grow to four.

How 356 becomes 4 and 489 becomes 1

The rule that runs the whole game fits in one line. Add up a panna's digits, keep the units digit of the answer and throw the rest away. The digit you keep is the ank.

Now write the open's digit, then the close's digit: 4 and 1 side by side make 41, the jodi. The finished line runs open panna, pair, close panna, which is why it is printed as 356-41-489. Order matters. Had the open produced a 1 and the close a 4, the pair would be 14, something else entirely.

Totals of 10 or more lose their tens. 14 leaves 4, 21 leaves 1, and a panna such as 550 adds to exactly 10, leaving 0. Zero is an ordinary ank, and a pair can begin or end with it.

Three shapes make up the 220 pannas

Only 220 three-digit figures count as pannas, because a panna lists its digits smallest first with any zero at the back (the digits 4, 9 and 0 are written 490, never 049). Those 220 come in three shapes.

The whole catalogue, arranged by ank, is the 220 panna chart. Pairs are a smaller set: two digits, each running 0 to 9, so a hundred in all, 00 up to 99, on the 100 jodi chart.

The cut ank: every digit has a partner

Add 5 to any digit and drop the tens. What remains is the digit's cut ank. The partnerships are 0 with 5, 1 with 6, 2 with 7, 3 with 8 and 4 with 9, and each runs both ways: 4 cuts to 9, and 9 cuts back to 4. On the sample line the open ank 4 and the close ank 1 are not partners, so 41 is an ordinary pair. A pair made from a digit and its own cut, 49 or 16 for instance, is shaded on the charts and called a red jodi. The cut ank chart sets the five partnerships out.

The usual wagers, placed on 356-41-489

No wager introduces a new number. Each one points at a part of the line you have already read.

1. Single ank: one digit on one side. 4 for the open or 1 for the close would have been correct here.
2. Jodi: the pair itself, 41 and nothing else.
3. Panna: all three digits of one side, so 356 for the open or 489 for the close. Both happen to be single pannas.
4. Half sangam: the ank of one side with the panna of the other. Either 4 with 489, or 356 with 1.
5. Full sangam: both pannas, 356 and 489 together.

Starline breaks the pattern on purpose

An ordinary market gives a single open and a single close each sitting. Starline produces draws at hourly intervals from morning to night, and each draw is one panna and the ank it produces, 168-5 for instance (1 + 6 + 8 = 15). No second panna arrives in that hourly slot, so there is nothing to pair and no jodi appears. If a line you are handed has three digits and then a single digit, it is probably a Starline slot, and it is already complete.

Practise on a second line

Take 550-04-112 and check it without looking back. 550 adds to 10, ank 0. 112 adds to 4, ank 4. Open digit first: 04. Where the line goes after it is declared

Each market keeps two records here. The jodi chart holds only the middle pair, week by week; the panel keeps all three parts of the line together, so 356, 41 and 489 stay on the same day. Before any of this touches your wallet

Reading a result is free and lawful. Staking money on one is a different act. Betting law in India is made state by state, so the position where you live may not be the position two hundred kilometres away, and knowing it is your responsibility.
